Join us for an awe inspiring shark dive with no cage in the South Pacific waters off Narooma.
We are so lucky to have access to these amazing apex predators, and Montague Island is one of the best spots to see them on the east coast of Australia.
We have numerous other species we regularly encounter including the wobbegong, port Jackson, bronze whaler, and giant bull rays.
The Grey Nurse shark is our most popular dive, and is critically endangered. It is a placid shark, which allows for safe up and close encounters. Ranging from 1.8m – 3+m in length with up to 14 on a dive. Our Instructor/Dive Master will get you into position on the sandy bottom and wait for the sharks to approach. They casually cruise up and down a gutter and can pass at arm’s length from divers. This is a great dive for photos!
At the end of the dive we will gather info such as size, sex, number, and location. Any photos of their distinctive spotty markings will be sent into the national identification database.
This is an impressive dive. Take the opportunity to dive with the Grey Nurse Shark before they disappear!
